ERASMUS outgoing mobilities
Based on the institutional contract concluded with the National Agency for Key Action 1 and based on the inter-institutional agreements concluded, UTCB carries out the following types of mobilities:
- Student mobility for studies (SMS): any student from UTCB can study one or two semesters in a partner university no matter what cycle (bachelor/master/doctoral). Duration of activity from 2 months (or one academic term or trimester) to 12 months of physical mobility. This can include a complementary traineeship period, if planned, and may be organised in different ways depending on the context: either one activity after the other or both at the same time. The combination follows the funding rules and minimum duration of study mobility. The amount of the Erasmus + grant for studies varies depending on the partner country: from 540 to 600 Euro/month.
- Student mobility for traineeships (SMP), lasting between 2 and 12 month of physical mobility, in companies or laboratories of partner universities, based on a practical internship agreement. The amount of the Erasmus + grant for internships varies from 670 to 720 EURO/month. The amount of the Erasmus + grant for a combined mobility study and practice is from 540 to 600 Euro/month and the maximum duration is 12 months.
Mobility for studies and/or traineeships for doctoral candidates can be from 5 to 30 days or from 2
to 12 months of physical mobility (a study mobility may include a complementary traineeship period, if planned).
IMPORTANT: Students will receive funding only for mobility that takes place in physical format (takes place in the destination country, in physical format, online or mixed).
Students will not receive funding for virtual mobility (in the country of origin). Also, these types of mobilities can be carried out 100% in virtual format only in the event that there is no case of force majeure that prevents the development of a minimum period of 3 months (for study mobility) or 2 months (for mobility practice) in physical format.
Students who carry out their mobility in a blended format (both in the country of origin and in the country of destination) will receive funding only for the period of mobility carried out in the host country (physical, online or mixed).
- Teaching mobility for teachers (STA) lasting 1-2 weeks, based on an approved teaching plan for disciplines in the partner university program. Starting with the academic year 2018 – 2019, the amount of the Erasmus + scholarship for teaching varies between 140 and 180 EURO/day, depending on the destination country. In addition, the transport expenses are co-financed with amounts between 275 and 360 EURO depending on the distance.
- Staff training mobilities (STT), lasting 1-2 weeks, which support the professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff through training courses abroad or direct pursuit at the partner institution of an activity similar to that carried out in our university. Starting with the academic year 2018 – 2019, the amount of the Erasmus + scholarship for training varies between 140 and 180 EURO/day, depending on the destination country. In addition, the transport expenses are co-financed with amounts between 275 and 360 EURO depending on the distance.
Starting with the academic year 2018 – 2019, the teaching mobility program has to contain elements of curricular development and improvement of teaching techniques.
The selection of candidates, which always takes into account the criteria of transparency and equal opportunities, is made by the commission composed of the CRI Council. It is composed of one representative from each faculty and is present by the Erasmus + institutional coordinator. The main selection criteria are professional results and language skills for study or teaching, in accordance with the provisions of bilateral agreements.
The selection of candidates is made in accordance with the regulations and methodology approved by the UTCB Senate, which can be consulted here: ERASMUS+ regulations
